FARMINGTON – Kari Simpson racked up 28 points, six steals, and eight rebounds to lead the UMaine-Farmington Beavers to an 84-46 women’s basketball victory of Saint Joseph’s College of Standish Thursday.

Karen Sirois scored 12 points for the Beavers. Amanda Byrne had four steals and Samantha Wiley had four assists.

Marie Lint led the Monks with 12 points and Kaylin Regula added 10 points. Sasha Bowen had four assists.
