Product recalls

The following products recently have been recalled for safety reasons, according to governmental and consumer safety organizations:

? NEUTON cordless electric lawnmowers manufactured by Country Home Products and sold nation-wide from February 2005 to June 2005. When the handlebar is released, the motor could continue to run which causes the blade to continue to spin. There is also excessive heat build-up in the wire coil. The two shades of green lawnmowers have model number EM 4 1. The serial number ranges are CE04049212 through CE04054902 and CE04061492 through CE04071541. ? Porter-Cable 890-series routers that were sold nationwide from September 2003 to December 2005. The motor coil insulation can be worn away by vibration, which could pose a shock hazard. ? Nestle Prepared Foods is recalling Asian Style Pot Stickers with a Sept. 19, 2005 production date. The product may contain extraneous materials (small hard plastic fragments). The recall involves nine-ounce packages of Stouffer’s Lean Cuisine Asian-style pot stickers, chicken and vegetable dumplings with rice in an Asian-style dipping sauce. Each package contains the package code, “5262595512”, the words “Best before Oct. 2006” and the establishment number, “P-7991” printed on the right side flap.
