LEE – Tom Bird scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Lee Academy Pandas to a 74-57 pointworthy victory over the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners in schoolboy basketball action Friday night.

Everett Houghton tossed in 12 points, including four 3-pointers, while Peter Pickering, Tyler Thompson, and Kris King each added 10 points for the Pandas.

Bryant Ciomei led Deer Isle-Stonington 21 points, including four 3-pointers.
