BRUNSWICK – The Bowdoin College Polar Bears rallied from an 18-point deficit in the second half and outscored Wesleyan 10-2 in overtime for a 73-65 women’s basketball victory Friday night.
The win extend the nation’s longest NCAA Division III home winning streak to 66 games.
Bowdoin’s Marisa Berne scored five points in the final 1:12 in regulation, including a 3-pointer with 29 seconds left, to tie the game at 63.
Wesleyan had a chance to win in regulation, but Ali Fourney missed three free throws with 1.8 seconds left after being fouled when attempting a 3-pointer.
Berne paced Bowdoin with 20 points, and Justine Pouravelis added 15 points and 14 rebounds. Eileen Flaherty chipped in with 13 points.
Ashley Mastrangelo paced Wesleyan with 18 points.

At Waterville, Katy Serafin tossed in 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and Devon Kearns added 14 points to lead the Camels of Connecticut College past Colby.
Kate Emery tallied 13 points. 12 rebounds, and four assists for the White Mules. Katie McCabe chipped in with 14 points, and Tanya Rosbash notched 13. Alanna Balboni had 10 rebounds.

At New London, Conn., the visiting Colby College White Mules came back from a nine-point deficit with 8:48 left to down the Connecticut College Camels.
Junior center Drew Cohen had 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Mules. Nick Farrell had 18 points on 50 percent shooting from 3-point range. Andrew Jenkins added 13 points.
Charles Stone led Connecticut with 19 points.
