STACYVILLE – Owen McCarthy scored a game-high 20 points to lead Katahdin to a 65-57 schoolboy basketball victory over Schenck of East Millinocket on Friday night.

Keith Anderson and Alex McAvoy each chipped in 12 points for the Cougars.

Kerry Thompson led four Wolverines in double figures with 18 points. Chris Byron added 14, Mike Lowell tossed in 12, and Nick Bishop scored 11.
