BURLINGTON, Vt. – Calvin Elwell of Brooks and Travis Wyman of Stockton Springs from the Wyman Boxing Club both advanced to the finals in the 29th Vermont Golden Gloves Tournament at Memorial Auditorium next weekend.

Elwell, 20, defeated Gordon Berry of the Gamache Boxing Club on Sunday in the 140-pound weight class in the Vermont Golden Gloves tournament.

Wyman, 16, received a bye in the 119-pound class.

The winners of next week’s final advance to the New England Golden Gloves Tournament in Lowell, Mass.
