EASTPORT – The Shead Tigerettes outscored the Machias Bulldogs 22-6 and had eight steals in the fourth quarter to rally for a key 50-46 Class D high school girls basketball victory Monday.

Tonya Cook tallied 16 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks and Laureta Ricker added 16 points to lead the Tigerettes. Fawn Cummings chipped in with 10 points and three steals.

Christiannah Holmes scored a game-high 23 points for the Bulldogs.
