CONCORD, N.H. – A 55-year-old Ohio man who pleaded guilty to coming to New Hampshire to molest a child living with one of his friends has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.

Federal prosecutors said Monday that Arthur Norman of Hamilton, Ohio, was arrested in October 2004 after investigators determined he traveled to Manchester to visit a friend and planned to molest a child at the home.

Prosecutors said Norman also admitted traveling to Maine and Vermont to find children to molest.

Once he serves his prison sentence, Norman will be on probation for the rest of his life.
