FARMINGTON – Tyler Muzzy notched 21 points and eight rebounds to power Husson to a 74-60 men’s basketball victory over the University of Maine-Farmington on Wednesday night.

Phil White added 17 points and Jason Harvey 14 for the Eagles.

Isaac Hutchinson paced the Beavers with 12 points and Matt St. John added 11.

Aecio Madeira netted 23 points to lead the Terriers while Chad Gray added 17 and James Godley 11.

At Farmington, the Beavers pushed a 17-point halftime lead to 31 with a 14-0 run to start the second half and cruised to their 12th straight victory.

Megan Cyr and Karen Sirois posted a dozen points apiece for UMF. Kari Simpson added 10 points.

Stephanie Noyes led the Eagles with 11 points, Annie McIntosh contributed 10 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks, and Jodie Merchant grabbed 10 rebounds.

Freshman Toby Martin of Wayne scored 26 points and dished out five assists for the Terriers. Amy Miles had 15 points, Talia Mondalto added 12, and Amanda Godley scored 11.
