FORT KENT – Kristin Violette and Meagan Charette combined for 25 points and 45 rebounds to lead the Fort Kent Warriors to a 57-48 girls basketball upset of previously unbeaten Presque Isle Wednesday night.

For the 11-7 Warriors, Marissa Albert scored 20 points after hitting five of five free throws in the fourth quarter. She also had eight boards. Violette had 13 points and 22 rebounds. Emily Pelletier hit all three of her 3-pointers in the second quarter to give Fort Kent a halftime lead.

Katie Delong had 17 points and Moriah Morris added 10 for the Wildcats.
