Police charge man twice in 24 hours

A Greenbush man was charged in two different incidents within 24 hours.

Darryl Ogden, 34, was summoned for possession of a usable amount of marijuana Tuesday at 9:20 p.m. when Milford police pulled him over in a routine traffic stop on Bradley Road in Milford.

Ogden was let go on Tuesday, but was arrested Wednesday afternoon on Bennoch Road in Old Town for violation of bail conditions.

Ogden was seen with a female in the vehicle he was driving matching the description of the woman he was charged with assaulting in January, according to police. As part of his bail conditions in the assault case he had been ordered to stay away from her.

The female was not charged with anything and allowed to leave the car Ogden had been driving.

Ogden was arrested and transported to Penobscot County Jail where he remained Wednesday night.

A private contractor arrived at work Sunday morning to find $3,243 of equipment missing from his construction site at 15 Mitchell St. in Bangor.

Ricky Curtis, 42, of Bangor arrived at the site and found the doors to his storage trailer open and the lock had been cut, according to Bangor police. Damage to the trailer itself was estimated at $200.

The burglary happened between 1 p.m. on Saturday and when he arrived at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

There are no suspects in the incident which remains under investigation.
