BANGOR – Following are city meetings and other activities for this week. All will be held in City Council chambers at City Hall unless otherwise indicated.
. Monday: 7 p.m., City Council, executive session to consult with city solicitor regarding bid award for heavy vessel dock; 7:30 p.m., regular meeting, agenda includes acceptance of grant from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development for project-based rental assistance, public hearings for liquor license application for Family Fun Bowling Center and special amusement permit applications from Club Gemini and Carolina Sports and Spirits, designation of Larry Springer as tentative developer of waterfront parcel on Front Street, approval of funding requests from American Folk Festival and River City Cinema Society, approval of cash match for Discovery Research grant from Maine Arts Commission, bid award for Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant heavy vessel dock.

Tuesday: 5 p.m., City Council’s government operations committee, agenda includes Police Department service agreement with Penobscot Job Corps Academy, update on Police Department crisis intervention training, Bangor Daily News proposal regarding new police station insert, general assistance code amendments, assessment process for city’s public health department; 6:30 p.m., planning board workshop on comprehensive plan update, agenda includes review of land use and zoning policy maps, discussion of planned public presentation.
. Thursday: 5 p.m., City Council’s personnel committee, executive session interviews with candidates for city boards and advisory commissions, city manager’s office.
. Friday: 1 p.m., Penjajawoc Marsh-Bangor Mall management commission, workshop to review preliminary subdivision proposals.
