At T.J. Ryan Center, Brewer, Ian Lee scored 11:20 into the second period on assists from Steve Boutin and Nick Beal to seal the win for Hampden Academy.
Troy Gaudet and Adam Nason both scored first period goals for the 9-9 Broncos. Ben Magaw, Matt Soucy, and Josh Tardiff each had an assist. Matt Albert stopped 19 of 21 shots.
Zoe Fisk scored a third period goal and had an assist for 2-14-1 Gardiner. Pete Caradonna scored 12:09 into the second period and Josh Wheelock assisted Fisk’s goal. Chris Howe stopped 35 of 38 shots.

Boys basketball
Lee wins PVC title
At Lee, the top-seeded Pandas rolled to an 86-57 victory over No. 6 Deer Isle-Stonington to win the PVC C&D Championship JV Boys Basketball Tournament.
In the semifinals, Lee downed No. 5 Piscataquis of Guilford 56-29 and DI-Stonington nipped No. 2 Dexter 65-62 in overtime.
