Winter wonderland
Come in out of the cold at the Winterfest Dinner Dance this Friday at the Muddy Rudder Restaurant in Brewer. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour and music from The Meddiebempsters, an all-male a capella group from Bowdoin College. A buffet dinner featuring carved steamship round, baked stuffed haddock, chicken Marsala, a stir-fry station and flaming desserts will take the chill off. Then, diners can work off their meal to the sounds of DJ Barry Lord, who will play dance favorites from 9 p.m. to midnight.
