CASEY QUAGLIA
Quaglia, a junior on the Bangor indoor track team, won the 800, mile and two-mile at the Eastern Maine Indoor Track League championship meet for the second straight year to lead the Rams to the team title. He was named the meet’s outstanding schoolboy performer for his efforts.
Small School (Classes C-D)
JEROD RIDEOUT
Rideout, a sophomore on the Foxcroft Academy wrestling team, was named outstanding wrestler of the Class C state championship meet after winning the 140-pound title, his second individual crown in as many years for the Ponies.
GIRLS
Big School (Classes A-B)
KELLEY PARADIS
Paradis, a sophomore point guard for the Nokomis basketball team, scored 16 points as the No. 9 Warriors knocked off No. 8 Mt. Blue of Farmington 57-45 in an Eastern Maine Class A preliminary game Tuesday. Paradis also scored 21 points and had six steals in a key 49-34 win over Lawrence of Fairfield last week.
Small School (Classes C-D)
ANNA HALLER
The Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics senior center scored a game-high 24 points as the No. 10 Eagles upset No. 7 Washburn in an Eastern Maine Class D prelim Tuesday. Haller also scored 10 points last week in a point-worthy 51-40 victory over Class C Fort Kent.
