CASTINE – Jill Anelauskas scored 19 points as Bowdoin College, the sixth-ranked team in the country, squeaked its way to a 57-47 women’s basketball win over Maine Maritime Academy Thursday.
Justine Pouravelis had eight points and 10 rebounds for the Polar Bears.
Alyssa Burns and Julia Knights paced the Lady Mariners with 13 points. Michelle Gott had 10 rebounds.
