BANGOR – The 2006 Soil Quality Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 22-23 at Bangor Motor Inn, Hogan Road.
Local experts Mark Fulford and Tim Livingstone will review the principles of biological farming and present practical applications for growing more healthful crops. They also will demonstrate how to formulate recipes to correct soil problems using two Maine farms as real-life examples.
A conference registration fee of $135 for the first person and $115 for the second person from the same farm will be charged.
