Presque Isle defeats John Bapst 3-1

BANGOR – Brad Young, Matt Talbot and Lucas McPherson netted a goal apiece to lead the Presque Isle Wildcats to a 3-1 high school hockey victory over the John Bapst Crusaders Friday night at Sawyer Arena.

Eric St. Peter and Brandon Daigle each notched an assist for the 11-7 Wildcats. Brendan Esquibel and Ethan Hill combined for 12 saves on 13 shots.

Matt Swift scored the goal for the 8-10 Crusaders of Bangor. Andrew Casey and Brian Leighton both tallied assists. Nate Kuneman made 11 saves on 14 shots.
