A newly created parish has called the Rev. Dana Douglass of Deer Isle as pastor. The parish comprises two congregations: the Congregational churches of Dedham and Holden. Douglass will conduct Sunday services at 9:30 a.m. at Dedham and 11 a.m. at Holden. The two churches will form joint work groups and perform projects together. Douglass has studied at Bates College and Andover-Newton Theological School in Newton, Mass. He has more than 20 years’ experience in ministry.
