Four charged in burglary at Fort Fairfield

FORT FAIRFIELD – Three Fort Fairfield men and a female juvenile have been charged in connection with a burglary and theft at a private residence last September.

According to Fort Fairfield Patrol Detective Stan Nicholson, the four were charged this week.

The three adults have had their initial appearance in court, and are scheduled to return to court March 5.

The unnamed juvenile has been turned over to her parents and will be dealt with through juvenile proceedings.

Heath G. Demerchant, 26, of Currier Road in Fort Fairfield, Ronald Keith Parady, 25, of 261 Main St., Fort Fairfield, and Kurt D. Condon, 27, of 39 Brunswick Ave., Fort Fairfield, have all been charged with burglary and theft.

Demerchant and Parady also have been charged with violation of conditions of release on previous arrests. Parady also was charged with operating after suspension and criminal mischief.

The four are alleged to have broken into a private home, causing some damage and stealing some items. Nicholson valued the damage and stolen merchandise at $1,200.

Parady was released on bail. Condon and Demerchant were still being held at the Aroostook County Jail on Thursday.
