FORT KENT – The 14th annual Can-Am Crown sled dog races begin here on Saturday, March 4 at 8 a.m.

Three different races will be held and all will start on March 4 in downtown Fort Kent.

The 60-mile race, the Willard Jalbert Can-Am 60, kicks off the event at 8 a.m., followed by the Pepsi-Budweiser Can-Am 30, the 30-mile race at 9 a.m.

The main event, the 250-mile Irving Woodlands Can-Am 250, begins at 10 a.m.

Awards ceremonies are planned for the 30- and 60-mile races at Lonesome Pine Ski Lodge in Fort Kent on Sunday, March 5 at 8 a.m. with the awards ceremony for the 250-mile race set for Tuesday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at the same facility.
