SEARSPORT – The Penobscot Marine Museum will host a gala celebration that combines a boats and yachts launching party and book signings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 3.

Lucia del Sol Knight of Blue Hill and Dan MacNaughton of Belfast, authors of “The Encyclopedia of Yacht Designers,” as well as some of the Maine-based designers featured in the book will be there to sign books.

Tickets are $10 per person.
