Jewell health center extends its hours

BROOKS – The Arthur Jewell Community Health Center has extended its hours of operation on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

The new hours are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays; 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays. The office is closed from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Dr. Stephanie Dettlebach will be seeing patients during the extended hours on Mondays and Mary Elsa Theobald, board certified family nurse practitioner, will be seeing patients during the extended hours on Wednesdays.

The Arthur Jewell Community Health Center provides a full range of adult and pediatric primary care services, patient education and on-site diagnostic testing. The health center is a department of Waldo County General Hospital and is located at 55 Reynolds Road. New patients are being accepted. To schedule an appointment, call 722-3488.
