BOSTON, Mass. – Jennifer Hitchcock scored two goals and had two assists to lead the No. 1 University of New Hampshire women’s ice hockey team to a 6-0 victory over the No. 4 University of Maine in the semifinals of the Hockey East tournament at Northeastern University’s Matthews Arena.

Samantha Faber added two goals for the Wildcats. Melissa Bourdon made 21 saves on 21 shots for 31-2-1 UNH.

Genevieve Turgeon and Rachel Gettings combined for 29 saves on 35 shots for the 17-9-6 Black Bears. Maine’s 17 wins are a single-season school record.
