Maine high school racewalkers Lauren Forgues of Boothbay, Taylor Burns of Scarborough, and Aaron Carroll of Gardiner earned All-America honors at meets over the weekend.

Saturday, Forgues finished sixth in the mile with a personal best of 7 minutes, 30.97 seconds at the Nike Indoor Championships in Landover, Md., to get her sixth All-America honor. Burns finished sixth in the boys mile in 7:54.04 to pick up his second All-America award.

On Sunday in New York City, Carroll finished fourth in the mile at the National Scholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships in a personal-record 7:44.28 for fourth place and his second All-America honor, and Burns was sixth again for his third All-America.
