CAMDEN – A van stolen late Sunday night or early Monday was discovered submerged in Camden Harbor on Monday afternoon.

Police Sgt. Mike Geary said the owner reported the van missing from his home on Limerock Street at 6:30 a.m. The van had been left unlocked, with the keys in it.

At about 3:20 p.m., someone called the Knox Communications Center in Rockland to report seeing a vehicle submerged in the water near Wayfarer Marine, Geary said.

Police also received three complaints Monday from residents who reported their vehicles had been entered and items taken. Geary said police are pursuing several leads in the cases.
