Comedian Bob Marley has scheduled benefit performances for Brewer High School Project Graduation, Hermon High School Project Graduation, Hampden Academy Project Graduation and Bucksport High School Project Graduation.

Marley will return to his home state for a 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, performance at Center Drive School in Orrington to benefit Brewer’s 2006 Project Graduation.

He will perform a benefit for Hermon High School Project Graduation at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Hermon High School gym.

Also on April 8, Marley will perform at 8 p.m. at Bucksport Middle School.

Marley will give a show to benefit Hampden Academy Project Graduation at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in the Skehan Gymnasium at the school on Main Road.

A regular performer on network television, including “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, “Late Night With David Letterman,” and “The Conan O’Brien Show,” Marley is a rising star on the national comedy scene.

He has appeared in films such as “Liar’s Club,” “Under the Bus,” “Mint Condition” and “The Boondock Saints.”

An avid supporter of Project Graduation, Marley regularly visits Maine to perform such benefit shows.

He also does benefits for his alma mater, the University of Maine at Farmington. He was an honors student in the Class of 1992.

Tickets cost $15 for each performance and may be purchased at the door.

Tickets for the Orrington show may be purchased in advance at the Grasshopper Shop, Bangor; Coach House Restaurant, Brewer; Paradis Shop ‘n’ Save, Brewer; Oriental Jade, Bangor Mall; Store Ampersand, Orono; or from Debbie Brooks at Brewer High School.

Seating will be limited and advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Doors open at 4 p.m. Concessions will be available before the show.

Tickets for the Hampden Show may be purchased at PDQ Door and Pizza Gourmet in Hampden. They may also be purchased at Molly’s in Winterport and Veazie Veterinary Clinic.
