Jackson

The annual town meeting will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Jackson Community Center. Voters will consider a $166,109 municipal budget, a $22,545 increase from last year. The townspeople will nominate and elect by ballot a selectman for a three-year term. They will vote on 34 articles, including an article to increase the property tax levy limit, an article on planning board expenses, and an article to amend the land use ordinance and add a certificate of occupancy.

Knox

The annual town meeting will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Municipal Building. Galen Larrabee, C. Ronald Price and Russell Higgins are running unopposed for re-election as selectmen. Stephen Curry is running unopposed for re-election as school director. According to Municipal Clerk Susan Price, the meeting may be relatively quiet. Residents will vote on the municipal budget, but totals are not yet available.

Waldo

The annual town meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at the town office. There will be nominations from the floor, and residents will consider changes to the subdivision ordinance.
