BANGOR – William Kristol, a well-known analyst of U.S. politics, will be the featured speaker at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the Center for Family Business at Husson College. Kristol is appearing as part of the college’s Distinguished Lecture Series.
He is founder and editor of the Washington-based political magazine The Weekly Standard and is a regular on “Fox News Sunday.”
Kristol is scheduled to discuss American foreign policy after Sept. 11. He interprets what the Bush administration intends to do and discusses the implications of the new world situation.
He received his doctorate in political science from Harvard University and previously served as chief of staff to Education Secretary William Bennett and as chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle.
