PORTLAND – Portland Pirates rookie forward Ryan Shannon was one of six American Hockey League players named to the league’s All-Rookie team.

Shannon ranks second in scoring among AHL rookies and ninth in the league with 80 points (24 goals, 56 assists). Shannon’s 56 assists is tops among AHL rookies.
