PORTLAND – The Portland Sea Dogs are set to debut their new playing surface and a new seating section which adds 390 seats to Hadlock Field as they play Binghamton in their 2006 season home opener at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Former Sea Dog pitcher Don Lemon, who was the first pitcher to take the mound at Hadlock when the Dogs opened up for the first time in 1994, will deliver the ceremonial first pitch. Gates open to the public at 4 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the ticket office at 879-9500.
