FARMINGTON – A Farmers Forum will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30, at the Lincoln Auditorium of Roberts Building at the University of Maine at Farmington.
The forum will include discussion by local farmers on various topics, including: the importance of sustainable agriculture; the importance of supporting local agriculture; and genetically engineered crops, the benefits versus risks in Maine.
A question period for the community will follow.
The event is free and open to the public.
