DYER BROOK – The Southern Aroostook Warriors pushed across six runs in the bottom of the second inning en route to an 8-5 high school baseball victory over the Hodgdon Hawks Monday.

Josh Branscombe doubled, singled and drove in three runs while Adam Anderson added an RBI single for the winners.

Tom Duff’s two-run single led Hodgdon.

At Houlton, Chris Howland doubled, singled and plated two runs and Aaron Fitzpatrick hit a two-run single to propel Houlton to the win.

Harry Austin and Ian Pasquerelli each added an RBI single for the Shiretowners.

Gib Michaud hit a single for Fort Kent.

Limestone 10, Van Buren 0

At Limestone, Matt Enman pitched a shutout, allowing two hits with 11 strikeouts as Limestone defeated Van Buren.

Enman also drove in two runs on a single for the Eagles while Gabe Hrynick had three singles and an RBI.

Andrew Taylor and Craig St. Pierre had a single apiece for the Crusaders.

At St. Agatha, Blake McCarthy had a single, a double and two RBIs to help lead Central Aroostook by Wisdom.

Logan McCarthy added a single for the Panthers. Tim Carlson had six strikeouts in two innings of work.

Justin Michaud led the Pioneers of St. Agatha with a home run and Randy Thibeault had three singles and an RBI.

Houlton 14, Fort Kent 2

At Houlton, Nikki Eastman pitched a complete game, allowing two runs on one hit while striking out 13 to lead Houlton by Fort Kent.

Eastman also had a double and a home run with two RBIs for the Shiretowners. Andrea Herring had a double, a home run and three RBIs while Lainey Herring belted a home run and three singles with two RBIs.

Shay Prosser hit a triple and a single with an RBI while Sarah Hardison added two singles with two RBIs for Houlton.

Kelsie Bouchard singled for Fort Kent.

At Limestone, Leanne Kelly hit a double and belted a home run, good for five RBIs as Limestone rolled past Van Buren.

Emily O’Neal had two singles and a double with four RBIs while Julie Peers hit a single and a triple and knocked in two runs for Limestone. Kayla Smith added a single and a double while Krystal Silva had two singles for the Eagles.

Brittney Bard hit a double for Van Buren’s lone hit.

Kayla Day hit a pair of singles for Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.
