BREWER – Jordan McLain and Dominique DeFilipp combined to allow only one hit in leading the Brewer Witches to a 12-0 high school softball victory over the Old Town Coyotes Friday at Coffin Field.
McLain and DeFilipp combined on two walks and struck out 10 in five innings.
Jordan McLain tripled and singled to drive in three runs for the Witches and Megan McLain had a double and a single with two RBIs. Julie Lorenz had two singles and an RBI and Christine Thoms doubled and singled. Katie Quimby hit an RBI single.
Erin Reardon hit an infield single in the fourth inning for Old Town.

Lawrence scored its only run on a fielder’s choice in the second inning.

Skowhegan scored all its runs in the first inning. Emily Hodgdon and Danelle Goff each doubled to spark the rally, and two runs scored on an error.
The Broncos scored an unearned run in the sixth.
