I would like to weigh in on the recent sex offender controversy.

Perhaps we should rate the offender’s offense with a number system, one being the most offensive such as infant molestation; two for children under age 12; three for teenage children; four for rapist, and so forth.

Then when someone hunts down and shoots them we won’t feel guilty for listing their addresses, and those who only did a small, disgusting act like looking at teenage pornography might only get beaten by a mob.

But seriously, how about giving a general description of where they live and work? That way it would be a little more difficult to hunt them down. Also, those who have done something so despicable as to warrant execution should not even be allowed out of prison in the first place.

We have a right to know where they are living, however, we shouldn’t be given directions to their bedroom windows.
