DOVER-FOXCROFT – Nick Lancisi hit a grand slam and a single to drive in eight runs and lead Foxcroft Academy past Presque Isle 22-13 in the first game of a high school baseball doubleheader Saturday.
Foxcroft won the second game 7-6.
In the first game, Dave White had two singles and a double for the Foxcroft and Justin Freeman doubled and singled with three RBIs. Josh Pelletier had two singles and two RBIs and Shayne Croan tripled and singled with two RBIs.
Tyler Lamoureaux doubled to knock in two runs for Presque Isle. Travis Brooker tripled and singled and Logan York tripled.
In the second game, Brad Bellamere hit two singles and a double for the Ponies and Logan Forrest had a triple and an RBI. Adam Conway hit an RBI single and Durgin McKusick doubled.
Luke Ireland doubled for Presque Isle.

DI-Stonington sweeps Schenck
At East Millinocket, Chris Ciomei doubled and singled to drive in three runs and help lead Deer Isle-Stonington to the 12-2 win over Schenck in the opener. DI-Stonington also won the second game 13-3.
In the first game, Ron Brown and Derek Powers each hit a two-run double for DI-Stonington. Tim O’Dell doubled and singled.
Trevor Violette and Shawn Landry both hit an RBI single for Schenck.
In the second game, Ciomei had two singles and scored three runs for DI-Stonington and Brown doubled and singled to knock in a run. Powers had two singles and an RBI.
Nick Bishop hit a double and two singles and scored three runs for Schenck. Joe Ritto and Chris Byron added RBI singles.

At Dover-Foxcroft, the Wildcats took two from the Ponies 12-0 and 13-1.
In the first game, Katie Delong hit a triple and three singles and scored four runs to lead Presque Isle. Heather Richard added a double, single and an RBI, and Katie Moody and Molly Hamel each notched two singles.
Sami Hall and Amanda Lerback each smacked a double for the Ponies.
In the second game, Angela Norsworthy hit a triple and two singles with two RBIs for the Wildcats. Chelsea Gloving had a double with three RBIs and Moody added two singles.
Lindsey Chase and Kristina Weymouth each singled for the Ponies.

At East Millinocket, Schenck downed Deer Isle Stonington 11-6 in the first game, but the Mariners won the second 17-7.
In the first game, Ashley Deloge hit two singles and double, driving in two runs for Schenck. Jamie Cunningham and Kayla Osborne each tallied two singles.
Audrey Eaton hit a solo home run and a single, and Shana Weeks chipped in with two singles for Deer Isle-Stonington.
In the second game, Anika Powers went 5-for-5 with four singles, a double and an RBI for the Mariners. Audra Eaton added three singles and four RBI.
Ashley Peabody notched a double and a single for the Wolverines.

John Bapst sweeps Caribou
At Husson College in Bangor, Gwen Wadleigh fired a no-hitter with seven strikeouts as the Crusaders earned a 12-0 win in the first game of a doubleheader. Bapst took the second game 12-5.
In the first game, Wadleigh walked just one to earn the victory. Rachel Stearns contributed a double, a single and an RBI, while Caitlin Benn singled twice. Shiela Toomey added an RBI single.
In the second game, Whitney Sinclair paced the Crusaders with a three-run triple. Hilary Laferriere and Ellen Umphrey each hit two singles and drove in a run. Danielle Richard struck out eight.
Billie Martin led the Vikings with three singles and an RBI. Makayla Gahagan chipped in with two singles.
