Assistance enrolling in drug plan offered

Maine’s five Agency on Aging offices will offer their final Medicare Part D enrollment workshops in the days before the May 15 enrollment deadline. In the Bangor area, the Eastern Agency on Aging’s last workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Bangor High School. The event is free, and no appointment is needed.

For low-income seniors and people with disabilities now enrolled in Maine Rx Plus, Low-Cost Drugs for the Elderly and Disabled, or DEL, or MaineCare, the state of Maine can provide valuable information on appropriate Medicare plans, available subsidies and other guidance.
