ELLSWORTH – University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a six-part course in ecological landscaping, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1, 8, 15, 23, 29 and July 9, at the Hancock County Extension Office.

The course is designed to teach participants how to design landscapes that are beautiful, beneficial, require no pesticides, and minimal water and fertilizer.

Cost is $70. The registration deadline is Monday, May 22.
