NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Chris Burleson had four hits and two RBIs in Saturday’s first game to lead the University of Southern Maine to an 11-6 victory over UMass Dartmouth as the Huskies posted a doubleheader sweep of UMass Dartmouth.

The Huskies defeated the Corsairs 7-2 in the second game.

In the first game, Max Arsenault hit a double and a single with an RBI. Stefan Black had a two-run single while Josh Stowell and Joe Ganley each added an RBI single for the Huskies.

In the second game, Stowell had three hits while Black and Mike D’Andrea each had an RBI single for USM.

Dylan Zygmont had a double and a home run for UMass.

At Orono, Stevie Shore hit two singles and knocked in a run to lead the University of Maryland Baltimore County past the University of Maine on Saturday.

Maine finished the regular season with the most wins in school history (35). The Black Bears also won the America East regular-season championship with a 16-5 record.

Reilly Ward doubled for the Retrievers.

Erin Provost hit a double and two singles to drive in a run for the Bears. Molly McKinney tripled with an RBI and Brittany Cheney doubled. Amy Kuhl had two singles and an RBI.

At Providence, R.I., Andree Sitnik hit an RBI double in the first inning to lead Rhode Island College past the University of Southern Maine and claim the Little East Conference Championship on Saturday.

Sabrina Mills had two singles and an RBI for the Huskies. Katie Mainville and Danica Martin each had two singles.
