ELLSWORTH – KidsPeace will hold a yard sale and auction to benefit the construction of a tool shop 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at the Graham Lake campus.
KidsPeace, a national children’s charity with nine locations in Maine, works with youth who have faced various crises.
The center recently received a $12,500 grant from G&E Roofing in Augusta and wants to raise more to build a tool shop to teach children the basics of carpentry and mechanical projects.
The yard sale and auction will feature furniture, sports gear, kitchenware, books, tools, and much more. For more information, call 1-800-25-PEACE.
