DYER BROOK – Jordan Sholler hit a game-ending two-run double in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Southern Aroostook Warriors a 4-3 high school softball victory over the Ashland Hornets Tuesday.
Sholler had two doubles and two RBIs for the Warriors and Amanda Charette tripled. Chelsea Collier had eight strikeouts.
Whitney Flint and Ashley Nemer each singled twice for Ashland. Whitney Flint recorded 14 strikeouts.

Meryl Shaw and Kerri Cunningham each had two singles and two RBIs for the Tigers.
Sara Brewer hit a double and a solo home run to knock in two runs for Hodgdon.

At Mars Hill, Kellie Peers drove in four runs with three singles and Julie Peers contributed a triple and three singles to power Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics past Central Aroostook.
Meagan Pelletier doubled and singled for the winners and Melanie Allen hit a solo homer. Julie Peers pitched five innings of five-hit, three-run ball for the win, striking out three and not walking anybody.
Kayla Day had two singles for Central Aroostook. Samantha Brewer had a run-scoring triple and Sarah Long had an RBI double.

Mikki Libbey singled twice and scored a run for Hampden and Hannah Growe hit two singles. Nellie Wood doubled and Lacey Littlefield struck out 10.

Joel Neill led Hampden – which jumped out to a 5-0 first-inning lead – with a double and two singles, while Justin Kelsey added a double.
