Bernie Roscetti, who worked for the Maine Public Broadcasting Network for 30 years, has been named to the position of manager of broadcasting at KCET, a public-broadcasting station in Los Angeles. Roscetti is responsible for long-range program planning, which includes overseeing the station’s program acquisitions, proposing and developing local programming initiatives and coordinating KCET’s “Fine Cut,” an ongoing series featuring local student films. Inducted into the Maine Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, Roscetti served as production manager, program manager and vice president of television education during his time at MPBN. He also served as on-air talent for every pledge drive during his three decades there.
