Saint Joseph’s, Bowdoin fall in tourney

HARWICH, Mass. – Garrison Ward tripled, doubled, and singled and drove in two runs to help lead No. 6 Western New England College past No. 2 Saint Joseph’s College 11-10 in the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament. Middlebury College beat Bowdoin College 10-8.

Middlebury College beat Bowdoin College 10-8.

Chris Fredericks drove in Mike Beck in the 10th inning to give WNEC the win.

Jason Connelly had a double and three RBIs for WNEC and Chris Newell hit three singles and scored three runs.

Ben Muniz hit a single and two home runs to drive in four runs for the Monks and Luke Enman two singles and three RBIs. Brian Schools hit a solo home run and Mark Clapp hit a double and two singles. Wade Oliver singled twice and scored twice and Keil Martin doubled.
