BANGOR – The following are city meetings and other activities for the week ahead. All will be held in City Council chambers at City Hall unless otherwise indicated.

. Monday: 4 p.m., ribbon cutting, Douglas H. Brown Building, 931 Union St.; 6:30 p.m., City Council, executive session regarding negotiations on Penn National Gaming Inc.’s permanent gaming facility site, city manager’s office; 7:30 p.m., City Council, regular meeting, agenda includes amendment of development, lease agreements with Penn National Gaming Inc.’s Bangor Historic Track Inc., code amendment exempting government-operated emergency telecommunications towers and antennas from height restrictions, airport investment policy, lease extension at 6 Central St. for Epic Sports, public hearings regarding special amusement permit for Diva’s Gentlemen’s Club and slot machine operator license for Hollywood Slots at Bangor.

. Wednesday: 4:30 p.m., troop greeters appreciation reception, Bangor International Airport; 5 p.m., recycling committee, agenda includes five-year plan, Public Works, 530 Maine Ave.

. Thursday: 11 a.m., Bangor-Brewer tree planting ceremony, corner of Broad and Main streets; 5 p.m., City Council, budget workshop, agenda includes review of departmental budgets, 5:30 p.m., open house, former Standard Shoe building, 48-56 Main St.; 7 p.m., board of assessment review.

. Friday: 7:30 a.m., cultural development commission, presentation of monument concept by Charles Howard Foundation, outdoors, between 3 State St. and 2 Hammond St.
