Through a live audio broadcast on his Web site next Tuesday, Republican gubernatorial candidate Peter Mills will conduct a “wireside chat” to answer questions submitted in advance and questions posed during the event.

Mills likened his Internet broadcast to a computer age version of President Franklin Roosevelt’s fireside chat by radio seven decades ago.

“With this Internet broadcast, I can talk to many of the people I’m unable to meet face-to-face as well as answer your questions about my visions for Maine,” he said in a press release.

Questions may be submitted in advance at www.millsforgovernor.com.

Some follow-up questions will be taken live during the broadcast 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 23.
