FORT FAIRFIELD – Raya King’s bases-loaded triple keyed a six-run third inning that carried Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook past Fort Fairfield 8-2 in a rain-shortened high school baseball game Friday afternoon.
Kaylea Collier had an RBI single in the third for the Warriors.
Chelsea Collier pitched a six-hitter to notch the win, striking out four and walking three.
Ruthie Arato had two singles for Fort Fairfield.

At Presque Isle, Katie Delong hit two singles and a triple with two RBIs to lead Presque Isle over Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln.
Katie Moody had a single and a double with an RBI while Heather Richards added two singles and an RBI for the Wildcats.
Casey McCluskey hit two singles and a double and drove in two runs. Kristy Burleigh had three singles and two RBIs for the Lynx, and Renee Libbey had three singles and an RBI.

At Hodgdon, Sara Brewer and Taylor Hovey each had two-run singles in a seven-run third inning that broke a 2-2 tie in the rain-shortened game.
Misty Wing pitched five innings of four-hit, three-run ball to collect the win. She didn’t strike out anybody and walked two.
Brewer had a double and two singles and knocked in three runs, and Jayme Bither had a two-run double.
Chelsea Bates had a run-scoring double for Katahdin of Stacyville, which beat Hodgdon 13-12 earlier this season.

Adam Bodine chipped in with a double, single, and two RBIs for the winners, and Kyle Dicker added a double, single, and RBI. Justin Frost singled twice, and winning pitcher Micah Barnes allowed only four hits and one walk while striking out 10.
