FORT KENT – Bud Soucy had six hits, including three home runs, and drove in six runs as the Fort Kent Warriors defeated Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook 9-2 and Madawaska 10-2 in a high school baseball doubleheader Monday.
In the first game, Soucy had a two-run home run, a double and a single with three RBIs, while Tom Desjardins singled twice and Derek Bonenfant added a home run.
Tim Devaney pitched a six-hitter for the Warriors, allowing no earned runs.
Josh Branscome singled twice for Southern Aroostook.
In the second game, Soucy hit two home runs and a single and drove home three runs, while Desjardins hit a grand slam.
Madawaska had just two hits, singles by Paul Roy and Nathan Beaulieu in the fifth inning.
