BAR HARBOR – Brienna Tinker doubled in Lila Miller to lift Mount Desert Island to a 2-1 high school softball victory in the 11th inning over John Bapst Tuesday.

Miller pinch-ran for Asia Ross, who singled in the bottom of the 11th inning. Ross finished with two singles while Courtney Bartlett had four singles and four stolen bases for the Trojans.

Danielle Richards singled and scored on an RBI single by Abby Perkins for the Crusaders. Ellen Umphrey doubled.

At Dyer Brook, Chelsea Collier, Raya King and Carol King combined on a five-inning no-hitter, striking out eight and walking four, as Southern Aroostook cruised.

Jordan Sholler and Audrey Charette each had four hits, including a triple and a double, and they combined to drive in 10 runs to pace the 27-hit attack.

Sholler had six RBIs and Charette had four.
