A special Brewer City Council meeting has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. June 27 to review and consider the 2006-07 budget. Copies of the draft budget should be made available June 9, according to city officials, giving residents 21/2 weeks to review the preliminary document before the public budget hearing. The budget must be completed before the end of the month. There also are three other schedule changes for Brewer: The regular June council meeting is 6:30 p.m. June 5; the Brewer school committee is meeting 7 p.m. June 12; and the Brewer High School trustees meeting 7 p.m. Monday, June 5.
