FORT KENT – Richard W. Cost, president of the University of Maine at Fort Kent, has been elected president of the Maine Higher Education Council for a one-year term.
Cost accepted the post at the annual meeting of the MHEC on May 25, in Augusta.
The MHEC is an organization of leaders of public and private postsecondary institutions in Maine committed to raising student aspirations, increasing available financial aid, and marketing higher education resources.
